青岛西海岸新区具有良好的旅游资源和前期开发基础,旅游产业发展目标明确。但存在旅游核心竞争力不突出,供给结构不合理,城市发展与旅游产业融合度不高等问题,需要重新选择战略重点,制定合理的发展策略,全方位打造度假旅游城市,实现旅游产业的转型和升级。

The West Coast New Area of Qingdao has good tourism resources and prophase development foundation, and the target of tourism industry development is explicit. Right now, less prominent tourism core competitiveness, unreasonable supply structure and low degrees of fusion between city development and tourism industry holds back tourism development. What we should do now is to reselect the strategic focus and design reasonable development strategy in order to build the West Coast New Area of Qingdao a resort city and achieve tourism industry transformation and upgrading.
