Research on the Data Services Model and Data Librarians' New Roles

探析E-Science环境下我国高校图书馆的数据服务层级模型,将科学数据服务由浅入深划分为3个层级:数据汇集与支持、数据精加工、知识提取,并根据数据服务的发展需要,归纳数据馆员所具备的4种素质能力:技术能力、知识能力、行为能力、环境能力。最后,针对我国数据服务和数据馆员的现状,对数据馆员制度、数据馆员职业资格认证制度、数据馆员新角色推动图书馆转型及数据服务的发展趋势几个方面进行了深入的分析和探讨。

The paper introduces the hierarchical model of data service in e-science environment. It divides scientific data service into three levels： data collection and support, data finishing and knowledge extraction. And according to the development of data service, data librarians need to have such qualities as technical ability, knowledge ability,behavioral ability and environmental ability. Finally, data librarian system, data librarian qualification certification system,data librarian＇ s role in promoting the transformation of library,and the development trend of data services are discussed and according to the current situation of data services and data librarians in China.
