The core competence of senior nursery teachers mainly includes knowledge competence, skill competence and emotional competence. It is of great significance to cultivate the core competence of senior nursery teachers: to meet the future market demands, to improve the present situation of senior nursery teachers' training and to motivate further research on early childhood education. Measures can be carried out in terms of the selection of both personnel training and course content, the cooperation with both early education center and higher educational institution, and the encouragement of the initiatives of nursery teachers and establishment of the core competence concept in personnel training.
