摘要
以翻译目的论为指导,以桂林石刻文献英译为例,考查MTI翻译工作坊习作中普遍出现的三类主要失误:词汇选择失误、理解失误、跨文化翻译失误,建议从提高阅读能力、增强语感、提高跨文化意识三方面入手,提高翻译教学效果和学生翻译能力。此外,建设案例库和运用案例教学法也将有助于提高学生旅游翻译能力。
In the light of the Skopos theory,the common errors in the C-E translation practice of Guilin steles from the MTI workshops are analyzed from three aspects:diction errors,misunderstandings, and cross-cultural translation errors. Accordingly, three countermeasures are suggested to promote E-C translating teaching as well as students' translation competence: improving reading ability, enhancing the sense of language and improving intercultural awareness.Besides,constructing a case base and applying the case teaching approach would also help improve students' competence of tourism-related translation.
