NCPA's new production of Thais:what else can we see except Domingo?

At the beginning of February 2018, NCPA presented the French romantic composer Jules Massenet's Thais, a blockbuster helmed by the77-year-old "King of opera"Placido Domingo. This article analyzes three aspects of the opera: libretto, music and visual presentation.
