The ancient town of Zhejiang province has a unique natural landscape and local culture. In particular, the ancient town public space under the influence of this culture has excellent historical and cultural value and research significance of architectural planning.This thesis starts with the influence factors of the settlement culture on the public space of ancient town, and analyzes some cultural phenomena in the development of public space in ancient towns.
