The Enlarging Enterprises Meeting was held by CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and Sichuan Provincial Government at Mianyang City in March to make a group of enterprises with high benefits, high quality, large seale and big market portion of Sichuan Province to develop faster and better, enlarge their capital at the maximum. During the meeting, Changhong Electronics Group, Wuliangye Winery and Chengdu People’s Shopping Mall altogether 37 enterprises were listed among Sichuan’s enlarging enterprises of 1997 to be supported. After the meeting, 4 cnlarging approaches and 11 favorable policies were made as guarantees.
