’97 Beijing International Science Fiction Conference Summer Camp opened at Yueliangwan bports Center in Chengdu a lew days ago.Five astronauts from the United States and Russia presented at the opening ceremony and had a happy gettogather with the young science fiction fans here. An exhibition of calligraphy and painting related to the science fiction was also held there at the same time, attracting group upon group of visitors. Many of the science fiction fans were lucky enough to have obtained the signature of the astronauts to whom they have held in high esteem. This summer camp provides a good opportunity to the science fiction fans to get a better understanding of the situation and development of the science fiction technology home and
