摘要
Sichuan Union University has made a lot of significant achievements owing to its scientific research on the economic development and putting it into use. In the past 10 years, it has won over 533 projects funded by the state foundation of natural science with an outlay of 28.83 million yuan and 257 projects of the state 863 high technology and projects to be tackled with an outlay of 54.15 million yuan. It also takes an active part in the key engineering construction of Sichuan and the solving of some scientific and technological difficulties. To meet the needs of the market, it has developed new techniques and new materials of economically high value, having contributed much to the economic construction of Sichuan.
