Sichuan an Union University Museum,founded more that 70 years ago, is the earliest one in southwest China.It consists of several showrooms with collection involving in stone carving,painting and calligraphy, folk customs,nationalities and others more. It’s held by people as one of the symbols of Chengdu, a city of historical and cultural importance of China. This museum is an improtant center not only for cultural relics collecting, but for the study and research of them as well.Over the past 70-odd years, researchers of the museum have compiled and published over 30 magazines and research books, with academic studies covering a wide range of fields, including archeology, nationalities study, folklore, cultural anthropology and others, having a far-reaching influence in the academic circles home and
