Shanxi Americans Gathered in Los Angles to Celebrate the Return of Hongkong

6月28日晚,来自美国各地的山西乡亲聚集洛杉矶,参加规模盛大的庆祝香港回归集会,这是在美华人的一次大聚会。 建立一年半的美国山西同乡会现有28个分会,遍布美国各地。为了庆祝香港回归,美国山西同乡会总会同南加州山东同乡会联合制作了“文武双圣”花车,在位于东洛杉矾学院举行的庆祝香港回归华侨游行焰火晚会上十分引人注目。

The one and half year-old Shanxi Association of America has now 28 branches in all parts of the U.S.. On the eve of Hongkong’s return, the two dragon cars decorated by Shanxi Association of America and Shandong Fellowship Association cut a smart figure in overseas Chinese’s parade and fireworks evening on the campus of Eastern Los Angeles College. Shanxi fellows from all parts of America gathered in Los Angeles to attend this evening.
