昔日的优势令人瞩目 西吕梁,东太行,是山西的两道屏障。15.6万平方公里的土地,演变成一个巨大的聚宝盆。煤炭是山西得天独厚的资源优势。全省含煤面积占到山西省总面积的38％,已探明储量2600多亿吨。新中国成立以来。

Shanxi, with an area of 156 thousand square meters, enjoys exceptional advantages in both cornu copia and production. The proved reservation of coal reaches 260 billion tons and now, there are more than 6000 enterprises engaging in coal-mining. At present, the annual production of coal is 350 million tons, accounts for 1/3 of the production of the whole country. The 200 million tons transmitted outside accounts for 80 per cent of that of the country. In July 1998, the State Council decided to turn Datong Coal Exploitation Bureau and Xishan Coal &Power Group into locally administrated enterprises. Shanxi Coal Administration Bureau drafted" Plan of Shanxi Coal Coalition Sale Office Plan" "Shanxi Coal Sale (Group) Co. Plan". The leaders of the province approved these plans. Once established, the Shanxi Coal Sales Group Co. and Shanxi Coal Industry Group Co. will be responsible for the exploitation and sales of coal. Soon, the target of" excavation and sales together"will be realized. It will change the scattered situation of coal industry.
