佛教对外交往广结善缘

随着山西对外开放的扩大,宗教方面的对外交往也日益发展,交往范围日益广泛。特别是佛教方面,呈现出多形式、多渠道、多层次的对外交往局面。

With the reform and opening-up of China, the amount of religious exchange has increased enormously. In particular, the practice of Buddhism has opened up in many forms, and from many different countries, Shanxi welcomed buddhists from countries such as Japan, America, Australia, England, France, South Korea, Singapore, Nepal, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong and Taiwan. At the same time, Shanxi has widened the influence of Chinese culture by sending delegations to other countries as well. The Monastery Music Orchestra of Wutai Mountain is one such example, as it is called the Envoy from Eastern Culture.
