摘要
随着社会的发展,信息成为人类最重要的资源。太原有线电视台根据太原市委、市政府的要求,在建台八周年之际,开始在全市推广使用HFC宽带综合信息网,这是有线台一项升级换代的工程,也是加快太原市信息产业发展步伐的跨世纪工程。
HFC net, Hybrid Fiber Coaxial, is a cable TV network with fiber optics as the main trunk and coaxial cable as the subtrunk. It can transmit programs and receive request from users, making it a two- way network with a large amount of bandwidth. In the eighth year of Taiyuan Cable TV Station’s establishment , HFC has spread in this city and realized the transmission of 34 channels. It is a century project marking the development of Taiyuan.
