On the evening of November 29,at the Second China Convention Economy Forum,the Pingyao International Photography Festival won the prize of Top Ten Most Important International Festivals in China.Shen Weichen,standing committee member of CPC Shanxi Committee,chief of CPC Shanxi Committee Publicity Department and chairman of the organizing committee of the Pingyao international Photography Festival, went onto the stage to receive the award.It showed that the Pingyao International Photography Festival, after 5 years' cultivation,had made an important achievement in its own right and become a cultural brand of Shanxi in the initiative to build it into a cultural giant and turn PIP into an internationally recognized photography red-letter day.
