It is necessary to establish effective public security management mechanism to guarantee the safety and progress of overseas projects. The paper introduces the features of public security management of overseas project, analyzes the public security landscape of the rail transit Orange Line in Lahore, Pakistan, and concludes the experience of this project, which is ＂oriented by risk pre-control, establishing sound public security management mechanism and implementing standardized process management＂. The paper also makes suggestions on public security management of overseas projects in terms of strengthening risk pre-control and contract management, enhancing organizational frame and management system, improving emergency plan and drill, establishing information share system, etc., serving as references for ＂Go Global＂ companies.
