The ＂theory of harmony＂ put forward by Qian GengSen believes that ＂ he＂ and ＂sheng＂ reflect the basic spirit of Chinese philosophy. ＂ He＂,for the purpose of ＂sheng＂,has multiple meanings such as,peace,balance,equality,chop and eradication,each of which can be used according to different purposes,intersecting each other so as to ensure the continuity. ＂ Hesheng＂（harmony）of the ＂ Theory of Harmony Originating from Taoism＂ is in agreement with the thought of Shi Bo and Lao Zi reflecting the spirit of traditional Taoism.It has inherited and developed Dong Zhongshu＇s idea of ＂Zhonghe＂ and Chinese traditional ＂ he＂ philosophy.
