英国幼教机构的分型及对我国幼儿教育的启示

Types of Early-Childhood Institutions of UK and its Implication to China

摘要 英国幼儿教育办学类型多样。公立Infant school重学业准备轻身心保育,多与小学密切衔接;Nursery school兼具托管与教育功能,公办私营并举形式多样;Kindergarten在英国数量甚少且多与当今森林幼教理念密切关联。依据办学内涵接近性原则,在学术交流中我国幼儿园应译为infant school而不是kindergarten才更妥帖。这一术语对接提示我们:从"小小学"模式的infant school向以自由活动为核心的kindergarten迈进,我国幼儿园仍需大力提升办园质量与内涵。 There are several different types of preschool institutions in Britain.The infant schools have close relationship with junior school Nursery schools usually emphasize both education and life-care for children.Kindergartens are very few in Britain and often are mentioned together with forest preschool education nowadays.It is not accurate enough for most Chinese preschool institutions to be translated into kindergarten because their main purpose and function are more like infant school.There is still a long way to go for China to improve its preschool education from level of infant school to level of kindergarten.
