Agricultural Development in the Han Dynasty:Impact of Climate Fluctuation

农业起源,需要依靠气候稳定以便保持自然与人的平衡。地形对气候的影响可以分为两部分:一是海拔高度;二是地形的形状和坡向。本文从气候物象对动植物生长、农作物存活、军事出击的影响以及气候带来的后世余烈等角度和方面加以分析、探讨,力图全面再现气候对汉代农业的影响。

The origin of agriculture, which relies on climate stability in order to maintain the balance between nature and human beings. The effects of topography on climate can be divided into two parts： one is the altitude and the other is the shape and slope of the terrain. Any subtle differences will bring about huge differences. This paper analyzes and discusses the phenomenon of weather conditions in the aspects of the growth of animals and plants, the survival of crops, the military attacks, and the later generations, trying to fully reconstruct the impact of climate on the northern region of the Han Dynasty.
