摘要 在英语课堂教学中教师可以运用优质提问来培养学生的思维能力。本文结合外研版《英语》(新标准)(一年级起点)教材中的教学片段,阐述教师如何运用前置悬念式提问、抛砖引玉式提问、情境关联式提问、阶梯层递式提问、联想启智式提问等多种优质提问方式来培养思维的独特性、灵敏性、深刻性和创新性,从而全面提高学生的思维能力,发展学生的英语学科核心素养。 High-quality questions can be utilized in English classroom teaching to develop students' thinking abilities. Based on teaching practice of New Standard English from first grade(published by Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press), this paper elaborates how teachers use pre-suspended questions or start a discussion before questioning, correlate the questions with situations, use step-bystep questions and ask imaginative questions with enlightening wisdom to develop students' thinking with uniqueness, flexibility, profundity and cultivate their creative thinking. These methods can improve students' comprehensive thinking abilities and cultivate students' key competencies in English study.
