眼科临床指南(PPP)在中国的15年

Preferred Practice Pattern( PPP) is in China for fifteen years

《眼科临床指南》引入中国到大规模推广已经15年了,对中国眼科临床水平的提高发挥了极大作用。这是世界卫生组织、美国眼科学会和美国国家眼科研究所以及中华医学会眼科学分会的专家们共同努力的结果。为了突破语言的障碍,使大多数中国眼科医师有机会方便地阅读和学习《眼科临床指南》,在中国实施推广Preferred Practice Patterns(PPP)项目之初,就确定了将PPP编译中文后正式出版的目标。至今已经2次出版了《眼科临床指南》中文版,第3版也已经完成。在中国引入和推广PPP是一件非常有意义的工作,它成为促进发展中国家提高眼科临床水平的典范,也是推广循证眼科学的一场伟大实践活动。

The introduction and large-scale promotion of Preferred Practice Pattern （PPP） into China has been for fifteen years, and played an important role for improving the ophthalmic clinic level in China. It is the result of joint effort of the experts from World Health Organization, American Academy of Ophthalmology, National Eye Institute in United States and Chinese Ophthalmological Society. For overcoming the language barrier and making most of Chinese ophthalmologists have chance to easily read and learn PPP, translation of PPP into Chinese and publication have been set as a goal at the beginning of the PPP promotion project in China. Until now, two version of Chinese PPP have been published, the third version of Chinese PPP has been finished. The introduction and promotion of PPP in China is a significant work. It became a model for promoting the ophthalmic clinic level in the developing countries. It is also a great activity for promoting the evidence-based ophthalmology.
