国际直接投资理论前沿进展——基于企业行为的视角

Review of the Frontier of International Direct Investment Theory——From the Perspective of Firm Behavior

从企业行为视角出发,对国际直接投资理论的前沿进展进行了梳理,回答了企业开展国际直接投资的三个关键行为选择问题:为何开展对外直接投资,到哪里去投资与如何开展投资或投资什么环节,分别对应着企业开展对外直接投资的动因、区位选择与投资模式选择。基于综述可知,国际直接投资理论是与国际贸易理论齐头并进发展的,从新古典国际直接投资理论到新新国际直接投资理论并非断代跃迁,而是兼容并包一脉相承的发展过程。从近十年前沿进展来看,以价值链分析为代表的国际组织生产结构内生化和动态化也正被纳入国际直接投资理论框架中。

From the perspective of firm behavior, we reviewed the frontier of international direct investment theory,and answered three critical questions to the firm＇s ODI behavior choices： why does the firm take ODI,where does the firm take ODI,and how does the firm take ODI or into which link in the value chain,respectively representing the motivations,region choice,and mode decision of the firm＇s ODI. Based on this review,we can find that the international direct investment theory was developing with the development of international trade theory,and the diverse well-known theories did not just occur separately,but had the connotations of inclusive and succession. According to the frontier researches in recent decade, it is estimated that the endogeneities and dynamics of the international production organizations represented by value chain analysis will be further integrated into the framework of international direct investment theory.
