Regional Differences and Influencing Factors of TFP Growth in the Yangtze River Economic Belt

文章基于Dagum基尼系数和面板数据回归分析方法，对长江经济带TFP增长的地区差异及影响因素进行了分析。研究结论显示：长江经济带TFP增长的总体、区域内、区域间差异均呈整体扩大趋势，下游区域内差异最大，上游与下游的区域间差异最大，区域内贡献大于区域间。资源禀赋结构、技术进步、金融发展对长江经济带总体TFP增长具有显著正向影响。各地区普遍存在“环境库兹涅茨假说”，除中游外其他地区均存在“污染天堂假说”。技术进步在不同地区的影响大小和方向完全不同，产业结构、外商直接投资、金融发展等因素具有较大的差异化影响，这在一定程度上拉大了长江经济带TFP增长的地区差异。

Using the Dagum Gini coefficient and the panel data regression analytical method, this paper analyzes the regional differences and influencing factors of total factor productivity growth in the Yangtze River Economic Belt. The results are as follows ： The overall, intra - regional and inter - regional differences in TFP growth of the Yangtze River Economic Belt show an overall trend of expansion, the regional difference downstream is the largest upstream, the difference between the downstream and upstream is the largest ; and the intra - regional contribution rate is higher than the inter - regional rate. The resource endowment structure, technological progress and financial development have a significant positive impact on the overall TFP growth in the Yangtze River Economic Belt. The TFP ＂Environmental Kuznets Hypothesis＂ is prevalent in all regions of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, and the pollution haven hypothesis exists in other regions except midstream. The size and direction of technological progress in different regions are completely inconsistent, and the influence differences of the industrial structure, foreign direct investment and financial development are large in three regions, which has widened the regional differences of TFP growth in the Yangtze River Economic Belt To a certain extent.
