Patent mining is the process of determining the technological innovation points and technical solutions for patent application from the perspective of the most reasonable protection of rights. Patent mining can enable innovation entities to fully protect the technological innovation achievements and effectively confront their competitors. Starting from the concept of patent mining and working principle, this paper takes the key industries involved in various fields as an example to explore the method of patent mining, hoping to have some enlightenment on the technological innovation and protection of key industries.
