On the Major Evolution of Aesthetic Culture in Virtual Society

审美文化是人类审美活动在文化形态上的体现,是社会文化的重要组成部分,它与人类的社会存在形式、社会场域密切相关,也必然要随着人类的社会存在形式、社会场域的变化而变化。当代科技革命的发展,导致了虚拟社会的兴起,实现了社会存在形式、社会场域的创新。与此相适应,审美文化在虚拟社会也发生了前所未有的、重大而深刻的演变,其演变具有内在的必然性。一方面,人类社会存在形式、场域的创新必然要求人类的审美文化发生相应的演变,这是人类社会存在状态决定人类文化存在状态的必然结果;另一方面,活动于虚拟社会中的人类新的审美需要,也必然要求人类的审美文化发生相应的演变,这是人类需要决定人类活动及产物的必然结果。正是通过这一演变,使作为审美文化构成要素的审美观念、行为和结果表现出了新的状态,使审美文化呈现出了审美选择的虚实交融性、审美方式的高度智能性、审美交流的方便快捷性和审美成果的广泛共享性等新的特征。

Aesthetic culture embodies human aesthetic activity in cultural morphology and is an important part of social culture. It is closely related to and inevitably changes with the existence form of human society and the social field. Contemporary technological revolution has led to the rise of the virtual society and innovations in social existence form and social field. Accordingly, aesthetic culture has been necessarily undergoing unprecedented and profound changes in the virtual society. On the one hand, innovations in the existence form of human society and and social field require relevant evolution in human aesthetic culture, which is inevitable, for conditions of social existence determine conditions of human cultural existence. On the other hand, with new aesthetic needs, human beings functioning in the virtual society also call for corresponding evolution in human aesthetic culture in general, which is necessary, for human needs determine human activities and products. It is this evolution that has brought about some new manifestations of such component elements of aesthetic culture as aesthetic conceptions, behaviors and results. Aesthetic culture has assumed some new features, e. g. integration of the real and the unreal, high intelligence of aesthetic approaches, convenient and fast aesthetic com- munication, widespread sharing of aesthetic results, etc.
