On the Clan in the Oracle Bones from Eastern Huayuanzhuang

殷墟花园庄东地甲骨,展现了商代一个与王室关系密切的氏族生活面貌。花东氏族所关注的首要大事,就是加强与商王室的联系。花东卜辞第15片,揭示了为迎接商王武丁之妻妇好的光临而周详准备的情况,连细微末节之事都要斟酌再三,通过反复贞问来决定。第11片揭示了商代狩猎的一种方法,就是击鼓惊吓野兽,使之奔突而于慌乱中陷于网阱。第300片和第455片,揭示了商代贵族驾车驰驱游玩享乐的情况。

According to the inscriptions on the oracle bones from eastem Huayuanzhuang, we can find living conditions of a clan, which had close relationship with the royal family of Shang dynasty. The principal thing this clan cared about was developing contacts with the Shang king＇s family. In the 15th tortoise shell, they made explicit prepare for meeting Shang king Wuding＇s wife Fuhao. And, the llst one reveals a hunting method in that period, which was frightening animals and making them falling into traps. Meanwhile, the records of Shang noblemen driving carriage to play, can be found in the 300＇h and 455＇h oracle bones.
