Objective To investigate the expression of Dual-specificity tyrosine phosphorylation regulated kinase 1 B(DYRK1 B) in cervical carcinoma tissues and the clinical significance.Method 84 cases of specimens of cervical cancer tissues(cervical cancer group),40 specimens of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia tissues(CIN group) and 40 specimens of normal cervical tissues(control group) were collected,in which the expression of DYRK1B protein was detected by immunohistochemical staining, the relationship between the expression of DYRK1B protein and the clinicopathological features of cervical cancer was discussed.Result The positive expression rate of DYRK1B protein in cervical cancer tissues was 72.62%,which was significantly higher than that in CIN tissues(22.50%) and in control group(12.50%)(P〈0.05); there was no significant difference in DYRK1B protein expression between CIN group and control group(P〈0.05);clinical stages, depth of invasion, differentiation, lymph node metastasis were associated with the positive expression rate of DYRK1B protein(P〈0.05); while age and pathological type were not(P〈0.05).Conclusion DYRK1B protein expression is upregulated in cervical cancer, which may be involved in the occurrence and development of cervical cancer.
