摘要
本文基于中国对非洲16个受援国2000-2011年援助的面板数据,采用两步回归法,研究了中国对外援助对受援国经济增长的影响,检验了出口渠道在其中的传导作用。研究发现:(1)中国对外援助会显著促进非洲受援国的经济增长,且该促进作用会产生倒"U"型"门槛效应";(2)中国对外援助确实能够通过国际贸易渠道促进受援国的经济增长,"促贸援助"模式是有效的;但是,不通过出口渠道发挥作用的对外援助则会阻碍受援国的经济增长。(3)受援国期初的经济状况会影响其现在的经济增长,导致其易陷入"贫困陷阱",因此在一定发展阶段国际援助是不可或缺的。
Using panel data of 16 Chinese recipients in Africa during 2000-2011,this paper studies the effect of China＇s foreign aid on recipients＇ economic growth and also tests the transmission role of export channel between aid and growth with two-step regression method. Study shows that：（ 1） China＇s foreign aid can significantly enhance recipients＇ economic growth,and has an inverted U-shaped＂threshold effect＂;（ 2） the positive effects is realized through export channel,which indicating that＂aid for trade＂is effective indeed,but aid not through export channel will hinder recipients＇ economic growth;（ 3） the initial economic situations of recipients may influence their current economic growth,leading them into ＂poverty trap＂easily,so international aid is indispensable at certain stages of economic growth.
