剪纸作为一项传统的民间艺术,历史悠久,底蕴醇厚,它扎根民间,裹挟着浓郁的民间生活气息。宁夏剪纸,因其独有的地域和民族特征,在中国剪纸之林中也表现出其独特的文化价值。然而,宁夏剪纸作为本土文化的代表之一其发展现状却不容乐观,有多少人在剪纸,有多少人会剪纸,又有多少人懂剪纸,有多少人能传承这种具有艺术之美的文化,本文旨在从这些简单的命题出发,为这项传统技艺的留存与发展建言献策。

Paper - cut has a long history and profound meaning as a traditional fork art. It is rooted in the fork with thick coun- tryside living atmosphere. Paper - cut of Ningxia conveys a special value in regional and national feature in China. However, its development is not satisfying as one of the representatives in local culture. Who are cutting？ Who can cut？ Who can under- stand it？ Who can inherit the artistic culture？ This paper aims to discuss the questions and make suggestions for the traditional art＇ s preserving and developing.
