摘要
在高等教育国际合作交流日益增强的背景下,每年均有大量外籍教师赴华执教。英美籍外教任教英语专业尤为显著。在外教为英语专业教学输入新鲜血液时,也衍生出一系列问题。以高校英语专业外教授课现状为切入点,分析中西方文科高等教育的区别、影响英语专业学生学习的因素,探讨英语专业教育引入外教的客观需求及外教在授课中的优势,指出外教在华教学中的不足,提出提高外教教学质量的建议,以期最大限度发挥外教辅助教学的优势。
Under the background of increasing international cooperation and exchanges of higher education, there are a large number of foreign teachers who take teaching in China every year. The teaching by British and American teachers gets particularly prominent in the English major. While foreign teachers take teaching for the English major, there emerge a series of problems while injecting fresh blood. This paper, taking the present situation of the teaching by foreign teachers in the English major as the breakthrough point, analyzes the differences of the higher education on arts between China and western countries, also analyzes the influencing factors in the learning for English majors, explores the objective demand of introducing foreign teachers in education for the English major as well as the advantage of the teaching by foreign teachers, points out the deficiency of foreign teachers' teaching in China, and puts forward suggestions to improve the teaching quality of foreign teachers in order to maximize the advantage of the teaching assisted by foreign teachers.
