The influence of the sliding line on the surface quality of outer panel was present-ed. In view of the sliding line problem of rear door outer panel fender trim, the cause ofsliding line was analyzed. Combined the rectification scheme with CAE simulation analysis,the sliding line problem was quickly solved. The qualified cover panels were obtained,which met the production quality requirements.
