The action mechanism and using method of antistatic agent for polymer materials were de- scribed. According to the different structure, the antistatic agents were classified, and the preparation methods of each kind of antistatic agent are introduced. On this basis, the selection principle of antistatic agents in each application field was introduced, the influencing factors of antistatic properties of polymer materials were analyzed, and the development trend of antistatic agents for polymer materials was forecasted.
