Research on Supply Cord Touching the High Temperature Components of Appliances for Skin or Hair Care

This paper introduced requirements of 25.7 clause of the GB 4706.1-2005 and GB 4706.15-2008, compare with 25.7 clause of the IEC 60335-1 ed4.1,we analyzed the difference of occurrence of events between ＂not possible＂ and ＂not likely＂ , then analyzed the classic documentations of IEC/TC 61, researched their habits of using and the probability of power cord reaching high temperature external metal parts of appliances for skin or hair care. It＇ s considered that the probability of power cord of appliances reaching the high temperature external metal parts could be taken as the determination criterion of whether it happens.
