现代大学职能视角下吴玉章高等教育思想研究

摘要 自中世纪大学诞生以来,大学职能不断演变和发展,逐渐形成了人才培养、科学研究和服务社会等三大公认的职能。我国杰出的无产阶级革命家、教育家吴玉章的高等教育思想,在新时代中国特色社会主义现代化建设时期仍有其独特的历史价值和现实意义。其中,在人才培养方面,吴玉章尊重教育规律,培养又红又专的高级专门人才;在科学研究方面,吴玉章保护有条件的学术自由,明确教学与科研的关系,塑造了社会主义高校学术研究的理想和性格;在服务社会方面,吴玉章秉承将一切智慧服务于人民的信念,凸显现代高校创新创业教育的理念,始终提倡大学人应以服务社会为己任。作为我国社会主义高等教育的先驱,吴玉章坚定不移地探寻中国特色高等教育办学发展之路,不仅具有独特的历史地位和价值,更是对我国高校现代化办学发展之路有着重要的现实意义。当今社会主义高等教育应传承其思想和精神,不忘初心地夯实人才培养本位,立德树人,培养德才兼备、适应社会需要的高级专门人才;坚持将对学术真理的不懈追求作为高校繁荣发展的固有使命,始终牢记学术界限和职责,明确社会赋予学者的职责和义务。吴玉章高等教育思想,是我国高等教育领域宝贵的历史遗产,时至今日仍有深远的影响,推动社会主义高校由萌芽、发展,逐渐朝着具有中国特色现代化、高水平的大学迈进。大学及高校工作者在自觉树立社会服务意识的基础上,应传承社会主义高校的历史责任和担当,学习吴玉章等老一辈无产阶级教育家的优良传统和奉献精神,以更多的内部职责动机代替外在因素驱使,发扬和诠释吴玉章在新时代中国特色社会主义高等教育领域的崇高思想和不朽功勋。 Since the birth of university in the medieval age, with the evolution and development of the function of the university, three recognized functions, i.e. talent cultivation, scientific research and service society, have gradually formed. The higher education thought of Wu Yuzhang, an outstanding proletarian revolutionist and educator, still has its unique historical value and practical significance in the period of socialist modernization construction with Chinese characteristics. Among them, in the aspect of talent cultivation, Wu Yuzhang respected education law and advocated to train the specialized talents both socialist- minded and professionally competent. In the aspect of scientific research, Wu Yuzhang protected the academic freedom with conditions, made clear the relationship between teaching and research, and shaped the ideal and character of academic research in socialist universities. In the aspect of serving the society, Wu Yuzhang adhered to the belief that all wisdom serves the people, highlighting the concept of innovation and entrepreneurship of modern university education, and always advocated that the university should serve the community. As the pioneer of China's socialist higher education, Wu Yuzhang unswervingly explored the development path of higher education with Chinese characteristics in China, which not only has a unique historical position and value, but also has the important practical significance to the modern education development for universities in China. Today's socialist higher education should carry on his thought and spirit, strengthen the cultivation standard of talents and keep its original mission, and cultivate talents who have both ability and morality to meet the needs of the community, stick to that the unremitting pursuit of academic truth is the inherent mission of the prosperity and development of universities, always bear in mind the academic boundaries and responsibilities, and clarify the responsibilities and obligations of the scholars given by the community. The higher education thought of Wu Yuzhang is a precious heritage of higher education in China, today it still has far-reaching influence and promotes socialist universities from germination and development gradually toward the modernized and high level university with Chinese characteristics. University and its staff, based on the social service consciousness, should bear the historical responsibility and undertaking of socialist universities, learn the fine tradition and dedication of the older generation proletariat educationists like Wu Yuzhang, and carry forward and interpret Wu Yuzhang's lofty ideas and immortal achievements in the higher education field of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era with more internal responsibility motivation instead of external factors.
