桃源木雕动物图案探析

A Brief Analysis of the Animal Patterns of Taoyuan Woodcarving

桃源木雕图案,以动物图案的纹样形式表达最为多见。本文主要讨论桃源传统木雕作品中的动物图案,对其图案、组合方式及体现的美学特征进行归纳,为当代的一些家具装饰纹样提供较为基础的参考。桃源木雕中的动物图案,体现了中华民族传统的造物思想,反应当地浓烈的民俗文化特征和区域特点,在一定程度上体现了桃源当地的时代审美和精神。

Animal patterns are most common among patterns of Taoyuan woodcarving. Targeting at the animal patterns of Taoyuan＇s traditional woodcarving works, this paper collects the patterns and their combinations as well as summarizes the aesthetic characteristics so as to provide a more basic reference for contemporary furniture decoration patterns. The animal patterns of Taoyuan woodcarving embodies the traditional Chinese creation thought, and responds to the distinctive characteristics of folk culture and region. That embodies the aesthetics and spirit of the era in Taoyuan to some extent.
