虚拟化技术在广电BOSS系统建设中的应用

Application of Virtualization Technology in BOSS for CATV

BOSS系统是广电企业管理和运营的核心系统,它承载运行着模拟电视业务、数字电视业务以及增值业务,通过对硬件平台实施虚拟化技术,使得新一代BOSS系统具备了低成本、易维护、易扩展、高可用性的技术优势。这些技术在多融合的省级业务运营系统中体现了极大的应用优势,能更好地支撑日益增长的市场化需求、多形态业务体系发展以及金融支付渠道对接。本文总结了北方广电在BOSS系统虚拟化硬件平台建设过程中的一些理论和实践经验。

BOSS is the key system of CATV management and operation, which carries analog TV services, digital TV services and value-added services. Through the hardware platform with virtualization technology, the new generation of BOSS has advantages of low cost, easy mainte- nance, easy expansion and high reliability. These technologies have great advantages in provincial business operations, and better support the growing market demand, the multiform business and the financial payment connection. This paper summarizes some theoretical and practical ex- periences in the virtualization construction of hardware platform for BOSS in NCN.
