From “A Picture Tells the Truth” to the Age of “Post-truth”

互联网和社交媒体的出现,使"有图有真相"让位于"后真相"时代。真相是一个动态过程,在寻找真相的过程中,真相会被重新组织和重新叙述;而每一次重新叙述都会加入真相的证据链之中,成为真相的一部分。在后真相时代,对真相认知的分歧其实是不同社群的情感和价值立场的分歧,各社群能够在交流和互动中达成有限共识以消弭分歧。

With the emergence of the internet and social media,the idea of＂a picture tells the truth＂gave way to the age of post-truth. The so-called ＂truth＂is dynamic. In the process of looking for it,thetruth can be reorganized and restated. Each restatement gets its place in making a part of the truth by playing a role in the evidence chain. In the age of post-truth,disagreement relating to the cognition of the truth is actually the disagreement of varying standpoints between different social groups on emotion and value. During their communication and interaction,different social groups may reach a limited consensus to settle their differences.
