Objective To study the application value of combined detection of PCT, sTREM- 1 and pathogen in diagnostic process of respiratory infection. Methods From January 2015 to December 2017,85 patients with respiratory infection treated in our hospital were enrolled as cases, including 42 cases of patients with bacterial infection( infection group ) and 43 patients with non-bacterial infection ( non-bacterial infection group ). 45 healthy people for health examination in our hospital were considered as the control group in the same period of time. The levels of PCT and sTREM-1 in serum were detected quantitatively, with the positive of the pathogen analyzed, and the data were statistically analyzed. Results The level of PCT, sTREM- 1 in serum and the pathogen positive rate in bacterial infection group were significantly higher than the non-bacterial infection group and the control group ( P 〈 0.05 ) ; Compared with before treatment, the level of PCT, sTREM- 1 in serum and the pathogen positive rate in bacterial infection group were significantly lower than after treatment (P 〈 0. 05 ) ; Compared with single detections, the sensitivity and specificity was highest by combining detection of PCT, sTREM- 1 and so was the positive rate of pathogens ( P 〈 0.05 ), also with the largest area of the ROC curve. Conclusion We can diagnose respiratory infection accurately by combined detection of PCT, sTREM-1 and pathogen, which has the important clinical values.
