《孝经》形成于先秦时期,是经书之一,自汉代起被我国封建君主奉为圭臬,成为封建统治者巩固政权、稳定天下、治理国家的至德要道。《孝经》的编辑思想主要表现在"广至德要道,以顺天下"的编辑宗旨,"明君臣父子之行所寄"的编辑目的,尊卑有别的编辑原则和开放融合、兼容并包的编辑态度。

The Classic of Family Reverence which appeared in Pre-Qin Period is one of the important Confucian Classics looked as Principle of governing country by emperors of past dynasties. Its editorial thoughts mainly displays in the editorial policy of ＂promoting the moral to make world stability＂ , the editorial purpose of ＂providing behavior standard for people＂ , the editing principle of ＂different people belongs to different classes＂ and the editing attitude of＂absorbing other things＇ advantages＂ .
