The diary prose was popular in the Song dynasty. Zhou Bida was eximious in literature creation, whose di- ary prose was the best in the Song dynasty. His official travelling diaries were free and lively,detailed and casual and gained skyscraping literatural achievements. His historical ones were objective and true,detailed and compre- hensive and had strong historical value and literature value. Zhou Bida＇ s diary creation was rich in cultural connotations.
