Marxist View of Contemporary Chinese Marxism

如何对待马克思主义才是真正地尊重马克思主义,才是不背离马克思主义。当代中国马克思主义坚持了两个基本原则:其一是把马克思主义基本原理与中国经济社会发展的具体实践有机结合,其二是将坚持马克思主义与发展马克思主义相结合。坚持马克思主义不能只是一种态度、一种立场、一种精神,它还须是一种方法、一种能力、一种素养。对马克思主义最好的坚持其实就是结合具体实践对其予以发展。马克思主义只有立足于实践才能得以丰富和发展,同时还须遵循理论逻辑才能将其丰富和发展。并不是所有的实践都能够发展成为理论,正确总结实践并提炼出的理论,必须与既有的理论相融洽。要确立对马克思主义的信仰,首先关注的应该是现实社会,应该通过致力于改变现实且推进社会的进步,并在改变社会的过程中实现自己人生的幸福。

How should the principles and values of Marxism be adopted to adhere to its fidelity？ Contempo- rary Chinese Marxism adheres to two basic principles ： the integration of basic Marxist principles and concrete practices, and the combination of the persistence in Marxism with the development of Marxism. Adhering to Marxism is not only an attitude, position or spirit, but also a method, capacity and level. The optimal way to ad- here to Marxism is to develop it with practice. Marxism should be based on the enrichment and development of both practice and theory. Not all practices can be applied to the development of theory. The formation of new theory from correct practices should be harmonious with the existing theories. An individual who desires to es- tablish the brief of Marxism should first think about the concrete soeiety. This kind of individual should devote to promoting social progress through betterment of reality, so as to realize happiness of life through promotion of society.
