Guo Bingwen is known as ＂the father of Southeast University＂, after taking charge of Nanjing Higher Normal School, recognizing the importance of building a contin- gent of teachers in the founding process of a first-rate institution of higher learning. In order to obtain ＂qualified teacher＂, he was actively committed to building a contingent of teachers. Outside, he traveled all over the world, treated worthy men with courtesy, dedicating to hire teachers; inside, he actively created conditions, paid attention to casting and developing ＂qualified teacher＂. In his continuous efforts, there＇re a lot of famous teachers gathering at Nanjing Higher Normal School and Southeast University.
