耿再成与耿炳文家族关系初探

A Preliminary Study on the Family Relationship between Geng Zaicheng and Geng Bingwen

耿再成与耿炳文作为早年跟随朱元璋起兵的两位将领,为大明帝国的创建立下了汗马功劳。而耿炳文更是在洪武后期与建文初期深受重用。官方史籍记载中的耿再成与耿炳文归属于各自不同的家族,但笔者通过比对地方志与碑刻材料的相关记载后发现,以耿再成为代表的泗州耿氏与以耿炳文为代表的濠州耿氏其实是存在联系的:出于同一家族且为叔侄关系。而官方史籍将其分割为不同家族,是由于耿氏家族成员牵涉明初胡惟庸党案所致。

Geng Zaicheng and Geng Bingwen, the generals followed the Emperor ZHU Yuan-zhang and made many accomplishments to the creation of Ming Empire. Geng Bingwen was prized in the late Hongwu period and early Jianwen period. In the official historical records, Geng Zaicheng and Geng Bingwen belonged to different fam- ilies. We found that Geng Zaicheng, the representative of Si Zhou Gunn, and Geng Bingwen, the representative of Hao Zhou Gunn, related to each other by comparing to local history and stone materials. Geng Zaicheng could be Geng Bingwen＇ s uncle. They should be from the same family. And official records split the same family into different ones, which is resulted from Geng＇ s family members involving with the Hu Weiyong Party Case.
