Key points for survival analysis in the Chinese medical journals

目前医学期刊中生存分析的应用十分广泛。在处理生存分析类稿件时,编辑需审查生存曲线是否仅有横纵坐标,生存曲线是否存在交叉,多因素分析时样本量是否足够,多因素分析时变量纳入方法是否正确,多因素分析结果是否完整,RR值、RR 95%CI及P值之间是否一致等。本文详细阐述了上述生存分析中的审查要点,以供编辑人员参考。

Survival analysis is commonly reported in the Chinese medical journals. When we deal with survival analysis-related papers,we should pay attention to the following points： whether the survival curve has only horizontal or vertical coordinate,whether the survival curve has overlapping, whether the sample and variables for Cox proportional hazard model are suitable or not,whether relative risk value,95% confidence interval,and P value coincide fairly well,and so on. This paper elaborates on these key points in order to provide reference to the editors of Chinese medical journals.
