The cultural resources of hometown of overseas Chinese in Wuyi district of Jiangmen provide a wealth of teaching resources for the ideological and political classes in senior high schools. It is feasible and necessary in teaching practice. For example, we can make good use of the value of ＂Chinese culture and national spirit＂ in ＂cultural life＂. We can realize the full value through such ways as pre-class design, classroom teaching and extracurricular practical activities.
