改革开放以来,中国共产党生态文明建设思想经历了从初步形成到深化发展,再到丰富完善三个时期。改革开放后至20世纪90年代中期,中国共产党在领导中国人民进行改革开放和社会主义现代化建设过程中形成了一系列环境保护思想,这是其生态文明建设思想的初步形成期。20世纪90年代中期到2012年党的十八大前夕,中国共产党提出了实施可持续发展战略和建设"资源节约型、环境友好型"社会的重要举措,这是其生态文明建设思想的深化发展期。党的十八大以来,以习近平同志为核心的党中央把推进生态文明建设纳入国家发展大计,提出了一系列战略部署,党的十九大首次把"美丽"纳入社会主义现代化强国目标,把坚持人与自然和谐共生作为新时代坚持和发展中国特色社会主义的基本方略之一,党的十八大召开至今是中国共产党生态文明建设思想的丰富完善期。

Since the reform and opening up, the Chinese communist party＇s thoughts on building ecological civilization has gone through three periods, namely, the stage of initial formation, deepened development, and enrichment and improvement. From the beginning of the reform and opening up to the mid- 90s of the last century, the CPC has formed a series ideas about environmental protection in the course of leading the Chinese people in carrying out the reform and opening up and the modernization construction. It is the initial embryonic stage of the CPC＇s thoughts on building ecological civilization. From the mid-1990s to the eve of the 18th CPC National Congress in 2012, the party Central Committee put forward the concept of sustainable development and important measures for implementing the strategy of building ＂resource-saving and environment-friendly＂ society. This is the stage of deepened development of the CPC＇s thoughts on ecological civilization building. Since the 18th CPC National Congress, the party Central Committee with Xi Jinping as the core has taken the promotion of ecological civilization construction into the national development plan and put forward a series of strategic plans for the building of ecological civilization. The 19th National Congress of the Party for the first time included ＂beauty＂ in the goal of socialist modernization, and adhered to the principle of harmonious coexistence between man and nature as one of the basic strategies for socialism with Chinese characteristics in a new era. In this sense, the period from the 18th CPC National Congress up to now is the period of enrichment and improvement for CPC＇s thoughts on building ecological civilization.
