话语基调视角下学术期刊编辑身份研究

Research on the Identity and Social Status of Academic Journal Editors from the Perspective of Tenor

文章从系统功能语言学话语基调的视角讨论了学术期刊编辑在整个文化活动过程中的作用、身份、地位等。研究发现,学术期刊编辑是意义的源头,其在学术成果的形成和传播中的作用是重要的,其社会地位高,应该受到社会的尊重。而由于社会对学术编辑具有两面性特征,尤其是更重要的隐性一面了解不够,导致了学术编辑身份和地位的尴尬境遇,解决学术编辑此境遇的关键在于如何使其隐性一面显性化和前景化。

The article discusses the role, identity and status of academic journal editors in the whole process o~ cmrura~ activities from the perspective of tenor of systemic functional linguistics （SFL）. The study finds that the academic editor is the source of meaning, whose role is important in the formation and dissemination of academic achievements, and should be respected in society. The paper further discusses the duality of academic editors, and their embarrassing low social status. The key to change the situation is how to make the covert works of editors overt, such as the recognition of copyright and authorship of editors, acknowledgement of the contributions in both academic researches and editing researches, and so on, and these measures are helpful to highlight the characteristics and value of academic editors, and are beneficial to construct the academic editors＇ role and status in society.
