斯坦福大学经济学学科建设竞争优势及其启示

The Competitive Advantage of Economics Construction in Stanford University and Its Enlightenment

经济学作为研究经济社会资源配置效率的学科,其学科建设水平对经济社会发展的影响日益显著,但我国高校经济学学科建设虽然已历经多次改革,却仍存在诸如学科设置过细,教学方式僵化,理论与实践脱钩、缺乏核心竞争力等问题。斯坦福大学在经济学学科建设方面呈现出鲜明特色,与时俱进的学科定位、倒三角形学科队伍、"顶天立地"的科学研究、注重质量的人才培养、多元交叉的学科基地,以及宽松积极的学术环境是其学科竞争优势的主要来源。国内高校在建设一流经济学学科时,可考虑从以上六个方面汲取有益经验,全面加强经济学学科建设工作。

As a discipline to study social resources allocation efficiency, economics has increasing influence on economic and social development. Although economics discipline in Chinese University has experienced many reforms, there still exist so many issues. Stanford University showed distinct features in the aspects of economics discipline construction including subject orientation, inverted triangle discipline team, pay attention to the quality of personnel training, and actively relaxed academic environment which are the main sources of competitive advantage of its economics discipline. When constructing a first-class economics discipline, domestic universities should consider drawing useful experiences from the above four aspects, and com- prehensively strengthen the construction of economics discipline.
