毛泽东为中国人民自由解放奋斗终生，不仅指出唯一的路是经过人民共和国到达社会主义和共产主义，而且提供了党领导人民走共和国道路的科学方法，这个走法所遵循的根本组织原则就是民主集中制。毛泽东把民主集中制原则创造性地运用于政治领导、组织结构、政策过程，形成民主与集中相统一的最大政治优势、组织优势、活动优势，为党的领导提供路线保证、体制保证、实践保证。因而民主集中制构成党的领导的根本保证。

Mao Zedong has fought for liberation and freedom of the Chinese people in his whole life. He has not only pointed out the only way to socialism and communism through the People＇s Republic, but also provided a scientific method that the Party leads the people to the road of the People＇s Republic. The basically organizational principle of this road is democratic centralism. Mao Zedong has creatively applied the principle of democratic centralism to the political leadership, organizational structure and policy process, which has formed the biggest political, organizational and activity advantages of the unity of democracy and centralization, and provided the Party＇s leadership with route, system and practice guarantees. Thus the democratic centralism has constituted the fundamental guarantee of the Party＇s leadership.
