On the Nature and Approaches of Interdisciplinary Translation Studies: Taking A Meta-theoretical Study on the Ought of Translation as a Case Study

跨学科研究路径是当下知识生产的主要模式,也是译论发展的当代要求。真正意义上的跨学科研究强调研究问题的复杂向度,注重多学科视野的整合以及认知的扩大。在大语境中充分认识翻译问题内部结构,在交叉领域中有效聚焦研究问题,合理选用相关学科理论范式和研究路径,或有助于学界增进对翻译本质的理解,促进译学知识的再生产。

Interdisciplinary study as a seminal paradigm of modern knowledge production requires translation studies to contribute to. Previous studies suggested that different from multi-disciplinary studies, interdis- ciplinary study begins with a complex problem located in an interdisciplinary field and ends in broadening hu- man horizon by integration of muhidisciplinary theories and methodologies. Thus interdisciplinary translation studies in its real sense claims a comprehensive understanding of translation problem in a grand context while adopting both theoretical paradigms and methodologies of related fields, so as to promote thorough perception on the nature of translation and increase knowledge production in translation studies.
